Bespoke firearms training for cast
Preparation for actors and action performers, built around the scenes your production needs to film.
We have trained actors and cast during productions and independently to prepare for action roles.
The scene sets the brief.
A cast member preparing for a particular role needs time on the work they will actually perform. We discuss the character, scene requirements, number of performers and available rehearsal time with your production. That gives the training a clear purpose and allows the relevant departments to plan together.
From first rehearsal to repeated takes.
Coaching can address confidence with the performance, movement, response to direction and continuity. Performers do not need prior firearms experience to begin training with us. The pace and content are agreed around the cast and the production’s requirements, under the appropriate supervision.
A practical fit with the schedule.
Contact us before fixing the training date into a tight shooting schedule. Tell us where the cast will be based, when they are available and when the relevant scenes are due to shoot. We can discuss UK or international work by arrangement, with the local requirements and responsibilities established for the job.
Carry the preparation onto set.
Where a production needs continuing advisory support or armoury, discuss it at the briefing stage. These are separately agreed responsibilities. For performers booking independently, see our actor training guide and public courses.
Tell us what you are working on.
Send the filming dates, location, cast numbers and a short outline of the scenes. Contact us before sharing confidential scripts.
