Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Dark Roc Ltd does not store your full payment card details. Stripe processes your payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy and is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). When you contact us via WhatsApp, your message and contact details are received and stored within the WhatsApp platform operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry and, where a booking follows, to administer that booking. We do not use WhatsApp data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. WhatsApp's privacy policy applies to communications made via their platform.

• Email addresses collected via sign-up forms: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Booking and payment records: retained for 7 years from the date of the transaction in accordance with HMRC requirements
• WhatsApp enquiries that did not result in a booking: deleted after 12 months
• DBS certificates and photo ID documents: deleted within 30 days of the course date. We retain only a record of the fact that verification was completed, not the documents themselves. You will receive a confirmation email when your documents have been deleted.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Stripe — for payment processing as described above
• Legal obligations — where we are required to disclose data by law, court order or regulatory authority
• Business transfers — in the event of a sale or transfer of our business, personal data may be transferred to the acquiring party subject to the same data protection obligations

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Dark Roc Ltd website at darkroc.co.uk and the booking and attendance of any Dark Roc training course. By using our website or booking a course, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

• All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only once a deposit has been received and acknowledged by Dark Roc Ltd in writing (including by WhatsApp message).
• A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your place. The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before the course start date.
• Full payment must be received before attendance on the course date.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Dark Roc Ltd does not store payment card details.
• All prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.

• Deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances.
• If you cancel more than 28 days before the course start date, any balance paid beyond the deposit will be refunded in full.
• If you cancel between 14 and 28 days before the course start date, 50% of the balance paid beyond the deposit will be refunded.
• If you cancel within 14 days of the course start date, no refund will be issued on any amount paid beyond the deposit.
• If Dark Roc Ltd cancels a course for any reason, you will be offered a full refund of all amounts paid or a transfer to an alternative date. Dark Roc Ltd's liability in such circumstances is limited to the return of payments received.
• Transfers to a different course date may be permitted at our discretion and subject to availability, with a minimum of 14 days' notice.

• Attendance at Dark Roc Ltd courses requires participants to provide a valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check. Details of the required level of check will be provided on booking confirmation.
• You must be aged 18 or over to attend any course.
• Dark Roc Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission to any participant who cannot provide required documentation, appears under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
• Attendance at any course involving Section 5 firearms is subject to compliance with the Firearms Act 1968 and all applicable UK legislation. Participants must not have any disqualifying criminal convictions.

• All participants must follow the safety briefing given at the start of each course without exception. Failure to comply with safety instructions may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.
• You are responsible for informing us of any medical conditions, injuries or physical limitations that may affect your participation before attending. Dark Roc Ltd cannot accept liability for injury arising from undisclosed conditions.
• Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn. Guidance will be provided on booking confirmation.
• Dark Roc Ltd carries public liability insurance. Participants attend at their own risk subject to the terms of that insurance. A copy of the current policy is available on request.

• Where a media package has been purchased, Dark Roc Ltd will provide professionally produced footage of your performance on the course. This footage is for your personal and professional showreel use.
• By attending a course you consent to Dark Roc Ltd filming training activity for promotional and marketing purposes, including on the Dark Roc website and social media channels. If you do not consent to being filmed for marketing purposes, please notify us in writing before attending.
• You may not publish or distribute footage from any course that includes other participants without their written consent.

All content on the Dark Roc Ltd website — including course materials, training methodologies, text, images and design — is the intellectual property of Dark Roc Ltd and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dark Roc Ltd's total liability to you in connection with any course or use of this website shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that course. Dark Roc Ltd is not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
