Deposit & Booking
1.1
Non-Refundable Deposit
A deposit of £100 is required to secure your place on a Dark Roc course. This deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to personal circumstances, change of plans, illness, or failure to submit required documents in time.
1.2
Booking Confirmation
Your place is not confirmed until Dark Roc Ltd has acknowledged receipt of your deposit in writing (via WhatsApp or email). Payment alone does not constitute a confirmed booking. We will confirm within 1 working day of payment clearing.
1.3
Course Prices
The price payable is the price confirmed to you at the time of booking. Prices displayed on our website are subject to change without notice, but any change will not affect bookings already confirmed in writing.

Balance Payment
2.1
Balance Due Date
The remaining course balance must be received no later than 14 days before the course date. We will confirm the exact due date when we acknowledge your deposit. It is your responsibility to ensure payment reaches us by this deadline.
2.2
Failure to Pay Balance on Time
If the balance has not been received by the due date, Dark Roc Ltd reserves the right to release your place and offer it to another student. In this event, your deposit will not be refunded. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before releasing your place but are not obligated to hold it beyond the deadline.
2.3
Late Payment Requests
If you anticipate difficulty meeting the balance deadline, contact us as soon as possible via WhatsApp. We will consider extension requests on a case-by-case basis but are under no obligation to grant them and cannot guarantee your place will be held.

Cancellation & Refunds
3.1
Cancellation by You — More Than 28 Days Before
If you cancel more than 28 days before the course date, we will refund all amounts paid minus the non-refundable £100 deposit. Refunds are processed within 5 working days to the original payment method.
3.2
Cancellation by You — 14 to 28 Days Before
If you cancel between 14 and 28 days before the course date, we will refund 50% of the total amount paid. The deposit is included in this calculation and is not refunded separately.
3.3
Cancellation by You — Fewer Than 14 Days Before
If you cancel fewer than 14 days before the course date, or if you fail to attend without prior notice, no refund will be issued. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, injury, or personal circumstances.
3.4
Transfer to Another Date
We may, at our discretion, allow you to transfer your booking to a future course date. Transfer requests must be made at least 14 days before the original course date. A transfer is not guaranteed and the deposit remains non-refundable.
3.5
Cancellation by Dark Roc Ltd
If Dark Roc Ltd cancels a course for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit — or the option to transfer to an alternative date at no additional charge. This is our sole liability in the event of cancellation by us.
3.6
How to Cancel
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via WhatsApp to 07776 336256 or email to training@darkroc.co.uk. Cancellations are effective from the date we acknowledge receipt in writing. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

Documents & Attendance
4.1
DBS & ID Required
Attendance on any Dark Roc course requires a valid basic DBS certificate and a valid photo ID (passport or driving licence). Documents must be submitted via the student portal before the course date. You will not be permitted to attend if valid documents have not been received. No refund will be issued in this circumstance.
4.2
Document Deadline
Documents must be submitted no later than 7 days before the course date. If you are in the process of obtaining a DBS certificate, notify us as soon as possible — we may be able to accommodate your situation but cannot guarantee a place without valid documentation.
4.3
Fitness to Attend
By attending you confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and are not under the influence of alcohol or any substance that may impair your judgement or reaction time. Dark Roc Ltd reserves the right to remove any participant from a course at any time if their behaviour or condition presents a risk. No refund will be issued in this circumstance.

Media & Intellectual Property
5.1
Media Consent
Training courses include a media package element. By attending you consent to being photographed and filmed for the purpose of producing your personal showreel footage and Dark Roc Ltd's promotional materials. If you have specific objections to any particular use of your image, you must notify us in writing before the course date.
5.2
Course Content
The training methods, programme structure, and course content delivered by Dark Roc Ltd are proprietary. Participants may not reproduce, share, teach, or commercially exploit any element of the training methodology without express written permission from Dark Roc Ltd.
5.3
Media Delivery
Dark Roc Ltd will make reasonable efforts to capture and deliver course footage. We accept no liability for technical failure, loss of footage, or dissatisfaction with the final media output beyond this obligation.

General
6.1
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
6.2
Data & Privacy
Personal data collected in relation to your booking is handled in accordance with our privacy policy and UK GDPR. Documents submitted for verification are permanently deleted within 30 days of your course date.
6.3
Variation
Dark Roc Ltd reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The version in effect at the time your booking is confirmed in writing will apply to your booking.
