Action performance training

Training for actors, stunt performers and action performers who want their physical work to read clearly on camera.

Make the performance readable.

Action has a dramatic purpose. The audience needs to understand the character’s intention and response, while the performer works within direction and the agreed scene. Dark Roc combines screen firearms preparation with an understanding of acting, stunts and the demands of a working set.

Movement, timing and continuity.

Rehearsal gives performers space to practise, receive notes and make adjustments. Repeating a performance matters when a scene is covered from different angles. Our training puts that screen context alongside the physical work, with instructors who work in armoury, action performance and production.

Choose your course.

Urban Action develops the physical action side, with a training-only option or a media package. Reel Action concentrates on character and filmed scene work. No prior firearms experience is required. Check the course details and availability before booking; footage is a record of your performance, not a guarantee of casting.

Working towards a specific production?

We also discuss bespoke cast preparation with production teams. The scenes, cast and schedule determine the work. Read our screen performance guide for the difference between handling familiarity and a performance that serves the scene.
