Dark Roc Ltd – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in training courses, services, and activities provided by Dark Roc Ltd (“Dark Roc”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or attending any Dark Roc course or service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Requirements
1.1. Participants must be 18 years of age or over.
1.2. Participants must meet all legal requirements for firearm-related training in the UK, including the provision of valid photo ID and a current DBS certificate where required.
1.3. Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that may impair judgement, awareness, or safety.

2. Safety and Conduct
2.1. Participants must follow all safety instructions, briefings, and directions given by Dark Roc instructors at all times.
2.2. Mandatory safety equipment must be worn when instructed.
2.3. Any unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or non-compliant behaviour may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.

3. Firearms and Equipment
3.1. All firearms and training equipment are provided by Dark Roc and must only be handled under direct instructor supervision.
3.2. Live ammunition is strictly prohibited at all Dark Roc courses and activities.
3.3. Participants must not bring personal firearms, weapons, replicas, blank-firing devices, or training equipment to any course.

4. Pyrotechnics and Effects
4.1. Where pyrotechnics or effects are used, these are delivered only by qualified and insured professionals at licensed venues.
4.2. Participants must comply fully with all safety briefings and instructions relating to pyrotechnics or effects.

5. Participation and Removal
5.1. Dark Roc reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any participant from a course where safety, conduct, or compliance concerns arise.
5.2. No refund or credit will be issued where removal is due to participant conduct or failure to follow instructions.

6. Fees and Payment
6.1. Course fees and any required deposits must be paid in accordance with the Fee Schedule applicable at the time of booking.
6.2. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the Fee Schedule.

7. Cancellations and Transfers
7.1. Cancellation, transfer, and refund terms are governed by the Fee Schedule in force at the time of booking.
7.2. Requests to transfer bookings must be made in writing and are subject to availability.
7.3. Courses are subject to minimum participant numbers. Where minimum numbers are not met, Dark Roc reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course. In such cases, participants will be offered a transfer or refund in line with the Fee Schedule.

8. Registration and Documentation
8.1. Participants must complete all registration requirements and provide requested documentation, including photo ID and DBS certification, prior to attending a course.
8.2. Failure to provide required documentation may result in refusal of access or withdrawal from the course without refund.

9. Health and Fitness
9.1. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to take part in training activities.
9.2. Any medical conditions that may affect participation must be disclosed prior to the course.

10. Filming and Media
10.1. Dark Roc courses may involve professional filming for training, documentation, or promotional purposes.
10.2. By attending a course, participants consent to being filmed or photographed unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the course.

11. Intellectual Property
11.1. All training materials, documentation, footage, and content provided by Dark Roc remain the intellectual property of Dark Roc.
11.2. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or share any materials without prior written consent.

12. Liability and Assumption of Risk
12.1. Participation in training involves inherent risks. Participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
12.2. Dark Roc shall not be liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except where caused by negligence on the part of Dark Roc.

13. Data Protection
13.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and Dark Roc’s Privacy Policy.

14. Right to Refuse Service
14.1. Dark Roc reserves the right to refuse service or participation at its discretion, subject to applicable refund policies.

15. Changes to These Terms
15.1. Dark Roc reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will apply to future bookings.
​
16. Governing Law
16.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
